1. The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Integrated Rural Development Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under Contract No. IRDP-SH-QSH-01 for the Supply of Furniture and Other Equipment for a General Education School in Kashkadarya Region.
2. The Joint Projects Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Economy and Finance hereby invites eligible bidders to submit sealed bids for the procurement of goods. The procurement will be conducted in accordance with the Request for Quotations (RFQ) procedures set out in the Islamic Development Bank’s Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works and Related Services under IsDB Project Financing, published in April 2019.
3. Quotations shall be prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Quotations (RFQ) and submitted in sealed form to the address below no later than the deadline specified in the RFQ. Quotations received after the deadline will not be considered.
4. Quotations will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, on the date and at the time and place specified in the bidding documents.
5. The Purchaser shall not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in preparing and delivering their quotations.
