Our Projects
Among all the reforms that are currently taking place in our country, there is primarily an emphasis on enhancing the quality of life, strengthening the welfare system, and fostering economic growth.
Consistent with these goals, a Presidential Decree initiating the second stage of the Integrated Rural Development Project was signed on March 28 of this year to elevate the socio-economic conditions of residents in remote areas. The Islamic Development Bank has provided credit funds for comprehensive territorial development, along with the construction of road transport infrastructure, engineering and communication networks, and social amenities.
The loan agreement between the parties was executed in April 2023 against the backdrop of the Islamic Development Bank President Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser’s official visit to Tashkent. Within the project’s framework, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan has slated various social and infrastructure construction and repair efforts across 21 districts in the Samarkand, Kashkadarya, and Surkhandarya regions to be carried out by 2028.
The aforementioned project endeavors anticipate the establishment of 7.8 thousand entrepreneurial units and the enhancement of living standards for over 622 thousand rural residents.
As part of the first phase of the project, construction and repairs are planned for remote villages of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, and Navoiy regions, while also bolstering the local population's vocational skills.
