Construction of subprojects in Bukhara region started

The Sustainable Rural Development Project is being implemented in Bukhara, Kogon, Vobkent, Shafirkan, and Gijduvan districts of Bukhara region at the expense of credit funds from the Islamic Development Bank and OPEC International Development Fund.

According to this, it is planned to build 25 social facilities and mahalla centers of consumer services (including 12 Preschool educational organizations, 3 health care centers, and 10 mahalla centers of consumer services) in Bukhara region. To date, the design and estimate documentation for these facilities has been developed and the conclusions of the state expertise have been received. They are,

- 12 Preschool educational organization (for 1200 seats) (Bukhara -3, Vobkent - 3, Kogon - 3, Shofirkan - 2, and Gijduvan - 1);

- 3 Rural Medical points (for 225 visits) (Vobkent - 1, Kogon - 1, and Gijduvan - 1);

- 10 mahalla centers (Bukhara - 2, Vobkent - 2, Kogon - 2, Shofirkan - 2 and Gijduvan - 2).

Today, construction works under the selected subprojects are gradually starting in Bukhara Province. In particular, the construction of a new preschool educational institution for 90 places on the territory of school No.28 in the village “Charmgardon” has started MCA “Gulistanabad” of Gijduvan district, the Mahalla Center of Consumer Services in MCA “Mustakillik” of Kagan district.
