Presentation of the Integrated Rural Development Project was held in Kashkadarya region

Another presentation of the Integrated Rural Development Project (Phase 2), which is being implemented jointly by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the UNDP with the financial support of the Islamic Development Bank, was held in Karshi city.

The project envisages construction and overhaul of social infrastructure facilities, improvement of electricity, drinking water and sewerage systems, creation of green jobs, as well as capacity building of local specialists and population at citizens' meetings in 45 mahallas in 6 districts of Kashkadarya region:

Kitab district – 8:

Samarkand, Qainar, Sharq yulduzi, Istiqbol, Yangi Zamon, Charmgar, Bogbon, Pakhtaabad

In Shakhrisabz district – 6:

Ravot, Oqdaryo, Xujaxuroson, Loliston, Xontepa, Yangiqishloq

In Yakkabag district – 9:

Mevazor, Qushchinor, Alakuylak, Istiqlol, Istiqbol, Yashnobod, Qatagon, Uchtepa, Navruz

In Guzar district – 7:

Xalqobod, Yangiobod, Muminobod, Buston, Xumdon, Chanoq, Amir Temur

In Dehkanabad district – 6:

Uzbekistan, Pakhtachi, Dehhkanabad, Buston, Oydin yul, Yashnobod

In Kamashi district – 9:

Qiziltepa, Tinchlik, Boburtepa, Elabod, Bunyodkor, Qishliq, Yuksalish, Oynakul, Istiqbol.

The project will be implemented in 2024-2028 in Surkhandarya, Kashkadarya and Samarkand regions of our republic for a total amount of $293.5 million.
