An inception workshop is being held for IDB-funded projects in Uzbekistan

At the initiative of the Islamic development Bank, from 14 to 18 November 2022, an inception workshop and portfolio supervision is being held for selected projects financed by the IsDB:  
-  Sustainable Rural Development Project
- Improving Oncology, Phase-II
The purpose of the inception workshop is to familiarize the executing agencies with project implementation requirements, including procurement, disbursements, financial management and administrative procedures, as well as develop project implementation plans, disbursement guidelines, and agree on administrative arrangements.
Specialists from various sectors of projects financed by the IsDB in the country have been invited. The seminar was organized in close cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
To the extent possible, it is also planned to follow the progress of projects and portfolios, especially the two projects mentioned above.
