Within the framework of the Sustainable Rural Development Project, a training seminar is being held in the capital of Georgia for the staff of the central and territorial offices of the Project Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Economy and Finance and UNDP representatives.
The first day of the training included a program presentation, during which the participants were also familiarized with the theoretical data used in the effective implementation of the project. In addition, a visit to the Public Service Hall located in Tbilisi and the meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia were held for the purpose of experience exchange.
It is known that in the Sustainable Rural Development Project, it is important to work with the population and study their needs in remote areas. It follows that in addition to taking into account the best practices of Georgia in this direction, the participants will also get acquainted with the vast opportunities in the field of amenity development and digitalization created to provide services to the population.
Site visits, meetings, and training are also planned in the following days of the trip to familiarize with the works carried out in rural areas.
