In Navbahor District of Navoi Region, systematic efforts are underway to improve the appearance of mahallas and construct and commission modern social facilities for local residents.
In particular, extensive construction and renovation works were carried out at General Education School No. 8 in Navbahor Mahalla under the Sustainable Rural Development Project. As part of the Project, Muzaffar Shahribonu Poydevori LLC constructed an additional school building with a capacity of 240 students at a cost of UZS 3.4 billion. In addition, routine renovation works were carried out in the existing school building, creating more comfortable conditions for students and teachers.
At the opening ceremony of the new school building, participants highlighted the importance of ongoing reforms in the education sector, particularly efforts to create modern and comfortable learning conditions for the younger generation. It was noted that the facilities provided at the new educational institution will support students in gaining quality knowledge, developing into highly qualified professionals, and making a meaningful contribution to the development of the country.
In addition, under the Project, an existing medical facility that had served residents of Yangi Yo‘l Mahalla in Navbahor District for many years was reconstructed in accordance with modern requirements and given a new look.
The new family doctor’s office is designed to serve up to 50 patients per shift. Residents of the mahalla will now be able to undergo medical examinations, receive consultations from doctors, and access essential primary healthcare services within their local community.
The improved conditions at the newly commissioned medical facility will contribute to protecting public health, further improving the quality of healthcare services, and enhancing the effectiveness of primary medical care provided to residents.
