New Social Facilities Commissioned in Kashkadarya Under the Integrated Rural Development Project

Ahead of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence, construction and development works are progressing steadily across the country, including in Yakkabag District of Kashkadarya Region. In particular, new and modern facilities in the education and healthcare sectors have been commissioned in Alakoylak mahalla under the Integrated Rural Development Project (Phase 2).

The No. 96 General Secondary School in the area has undergone major renovation, and a new modern school building with a capacity of 624 students has been commissioned. In addition, a new building of the No. 70 Alakoylak Family Polyclinic has been commissioned in Alakoylak Mahalla.

The medical facility is designed to serve up to 50 patients at a time. The new building has been equipped in accordance with modern standards, with all the necessary conditions created to provide the local population with quality and accessible healthcare services.
District authorities, sector representatives, mahalla activists, and members of the general public attended the opening ceremonies of the facilities.

Work under the Project is also continuing in other areas of Kashkadarya Region. In particular, construction and major renovation works have been completed at General Secondary Schools No. 10, 13, 24, and 25 in Kitab District.

The social facilities commissioned ahead of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence will contribute to creating more favourable conditions for local residents and improving the quality of education and healthcare services. The new facilities have therefore become a worthy Independence Day gift, particularly for local residents and school-age children.
