New general education schools commissioned in Khorezm

Under the Sustainable Rural Development Project, the construction of a new general education school No. 53 in the Qoramozi mahalla of Khonka District, Khorezm Region, has been completed and the school has been commissioned. The new educational facility has become a worthy gift to the students and school community on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In addition, a new general education school No. 52 was commissioned in the Bakhshilar MCA of Urgench District as part of the Project.

The opening ceremonies were attended by local elders, members of the school community, retired teachers, and students’ parents. The ceremonies began with the national anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was followed by the reading of the congratulatory message from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan addressed to school students, teachers, and mentors on the occasion of Knowledge Day.
