Large-scale infrastructure improvement works are being implemented in phases in Guliston mahalla of Khonka District, Khorezm Region, under the Sustainable Rural Development Project.
Within the framework of the project implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance with financial support from the Islamic Development Bank and the OPEC Fund for International Development, 7.8 km of the drinking water supply network has been reconstructed in the mahalla. In addition, 16.62 km of internal roads have been asphalted, and 2 km of pedestrian walkways have been constructed, providing residents with safer and more convenient conditions for daily mobility.
Furthermore, 10.7 km of the electricity distribution network has been reconstructed. The completed works have significantly improved the reliability and quality of electricity supply in the mahalla.
As a result of the project, the mahalla’s infrastructure is being modernized in line with contemporary standards, creating a more comfortable living environment for local residents.
