A visit of representatives of the Islamic Development Bank to Khorezm region took place in order to review the activities being implemented under the Ministry of Economy and Finance’s Sustainable Rural Development Project, monitor construction processes, and study the opinions and feedback of local residents.
During the visit, IsDB Project Management Specialist Alibek Kazangapov, specialists of the Project Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as well as representatives of the khokimiyats of Urgench and Khonka districts, visited project sites in the region.
The delegation reviewed completed social infrastructure facilities and infrastructure projects in the “Yuqoriovul”, “Hilol”, “Uyshin”, and “Merganovul” mahallas of Urgench district, as well as the “Dustlik” mahalla of Khonka district.
During the mission, discussions were held with representatives of organizations responsible for construction works and local residents regarding the quality of implementation, consideration of community feedback during the implementation process, and the procedures for utilizing the completed facilities.
