A follow-up mission of representatives of the Islamic Development Bank has commenced to review the implementation progress, assess the achieved results, and define upcoming priorities within the framework of the Sustainable Rural Development and Integrated Rural Development (Phase II) projects being implemented jointly with the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
the first day of the mission, discussions were held with the Joint Projects Implementation Unit regarding the current status of the projects, procurement processes under the subprojects, financial indicators, and opportunities to accelerate project implementation.
In addition, meetings were conducted with representatives of the United Nations Development Programme, the supporting partner organization assisting in the implementation of the joint projects. During the discussions, the parties reviewed the activities carried out by the organization in implementing the subprojects, specialists’ approaches to community engagement, and future plans.
The mission agenda also includes field visits to project sites in order to gain a closer understanding of the ongoing activities and assess the improvements being created for local communities.
