Infrastructure in mahallas of Yangibazar district is being upgraded

Reconstruction and capital repair works are actively ongoing in the regions under the “Sustainable Rural Development project” implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In particular, the territory of the “Hamid Olimjon” mahalla in Yangibazar district of Khorezm region has been included in the project. To date, a community center providing household services to residents has been constructed and commissioned.

Currently, works are nearing completion on the rehabilitation of 7.5 km of internal roads and the construction of 4 km of pedestrian walkways in the mahalla.

In the future, the project also envisages the reconstruction of the existing kindergarten, as well as the construction of a new family doctor point with a capacity of up to 100 visits per shift.
