In the second half of the day, with the Joint Projects Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the stages of both projects from their approval to the start of construction works at sites were reviewed. The timelines for project implementation, as well as the significance of the experience and lessons learned from the initial project for the continuation of subsequent ones, were discussed.
At the initiative of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, during the 3rd International Forum on Poverty Reduction “From Poverty to Prosperity,” held in Namangan, the President of the Islamic Development Bank, Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, highly praised Uzbekistan’s reforms and achievements in reducing poverty, noting that the country is advancing along the path of sustainable development.
The Sustainable Rural Development and Integrated Rural Development projects are a logical continuation of these reforms and aim to improve the living standards of the population in remote areas through the enhancement of infrastructure and social facilities.
