Opening of new facilities in Khorezm region took place

As part of the Sustainable Rural Development Project implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, another Mahalla household services center was opened in Khorezm region. The three-story center, constructed by “Jahon Qilich” LLC in “Buston” MCA of Hazorasp district, was completed just in time for the Navruz holiday and is designed to offer a variety of services to the local population.

The opening ceremony was attended by the newly appointed khokim who toured the facility and familiarized himself with the services available for local residents and entrepreneurs, emphasizing the opportunities for their effective use.

The household services center was established to address the needs of rural communities, providing social consultations, administrative support, and essential services for residents.

The first floor of the building houses a beauty salon, hairdresser, pharmacy, dedicated offices for bank representatives, and service rooms for the Chairman of the Mahalla Citizens’ Assembly, assistant khokim, women's activist, youth leader, and preventive inspector. Additionally, a public services center, confectionery shop, and department store are set to operate here.

The second floor was designed primarily for training centers, where facilities such as a Career Guidance Center, chemical cleaning service, and fitness room were established. The third floor is allocated for a sewing workshop, a household appliance repair center, and a youth center.

On the same day, another similar center was inaugurated at the “Hamid Olimjon” MCA in Yangibazar District. Residents and project initiators attending the event expressed their gratitude for the launch of such vital facilities ahead of Navruz.

In addition to providing essential community services, these centers play a crucial role in fostering entrepreneurship and crafts, creating job opportunities, and strengthening the local economy.

Under the Sustainable Rural Development Project, 40 similar centers will be built nationwide, aiming to enhance living conditions in remote areas, improve the quality of community services, generate new jobs, and ultimately raise income levels and overall well-being for rural residents.
