As part of the ongoing mission of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), representatives are reviewing the progress of construction under the Sustainable Rural Development Project implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The mission agenda includes inspecting facilities under construction, gathering public feedback on the work being carried out, and attending the opening ceremony of newly completed facilities.
During the visit to Navoi region, the delegation inspected a Mahalla household services center under construction in Karmana district, as well as several preschool educational institutions. The visit, conducted with the participation of representatives from the IsDB mission, local khokimiyats, JPIU, and UNDP personnel, focused on selected subprojects that were developed considering the needs and preferences of local residents. Discussions were also held on existing challenges and potential solutions.
In the second half of the day, an opening ceremony was held for Family Polyclinic №62, recently completed in the Gijduvan district of Bukhara region. Speakers highlighted the significance of the project for rural residents, emphasizing that the new polyclinic building and modern equipment would improve access to quality healthcare while also creating new job opportunities.
On the following day of the mission, the delegation is scheduled to attend the opening of a preschool educational institution and a neighborhood household services center in Vobkent district.
