Environmental and Social monitoring continues in Navoi region

With the participation of the Environmental Protection Specialist from the Joint Projects Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, along with employees from the regional office, monitoring activities are being conducted at construction sites in Navoi region.

Experts visited construction facilities in Navbahor, Karmana, and Kiziltepa districts and reviewed compliance with environmental and social protection requirements during the implementation of sub-projects. They also collected proposals and feedback from residents living in areas near the facilities.

As part of the Sustainable Rural Development Project, interviews were conducted with contractors to ensure adherence to environmental standards at construction sites and to prioritize safety for both workers and local residents. Additionally, information on the Grievance Redress Mechanism was provided to Mahalla residents, explaining how to submit appeals effectively.
