A meeting was held to review the progress of projects being implemented by the Joint Projects Implementation Unit (JPIU) under the Ministry of Economy and Finance. During the meeting, reports from the Regional Coordinators of the JPIU were presented, focusing on accelerating construction activities in the assigned areas.
In particular, discussions emphasized the responsibilities and obligations of both the “Customer” and the “Contractor” in facilities where construction work has been delayed as part of the Rural Infrastructure Development Project.
The meeting also addressed issues under the Sustainable Rural Development Project, particularly the selection of central mahallas where construction progress has been slow and the development of service-oriented infrastructure in selected mahallas.
Additionally, within the framework of the Integrated Rural Development Project (Phase 2), representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), a key partner organization, shared views on the development of Community Development Plans. Topics included finalizing address lists, allocating land, and selecting central neighborhoods for advancing services and facilities.
