Progress in the construction of a preschool educational organization in Beruniy District was monitored

As part of the Sustainable Rural Development Project, a 90-bed kindergarten is being constructed in the “Shimom” ACA area of Beruniy District, Republic of Karakalpakstan. The facility, spanning a total area of 6,831.12 m², is being built by the contractor organization “Jamshid” LLC.

Environmental and social monitoring during the construction process is conducted by employees of the Joint Projects Implementation Unit under the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The monitoring process observed compliance with environmental and social standards and the existence of a grievance redress mechanism for residents living near the subproject area.

Additionally, residents have been informed about the mechanism for submitting appeals, ensuring transparency and fostering community engagement throughout the construction process.

To date, foundational work, including the casting of the foundation and bricklaying for the first and second floors, has been completed. Additionally, ongoing tasks include constructing auxiliary buildings, installing internal heating systems, conducting plumbing work, and finalizing the roof structure.
