Islamic Development Bank specialists lead training on Procurement and Payment processes

During the mission of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) representatives to Uzbekistan, training was held for the Joint Project Implementation Unit staff under the Ministry of Economy and Finance. Specialists from the central and regional offices of the Sustainable Rural Development Project and Integrated Rural Development Project (Phase 2) attended the session.

Ilkhom Yakubjanov, Field Procurement Officer from the IsDB regional office in Almaty, and Tatyana Vilchik, Field Disbursement Officer, covered topics such as the requirements of international financial institutions, recommendations regarding non-compliance with national legislation, and the exchange of experiences related to implemented projects.

The experts expressed their opinions and suggestions on the controversial situations faced by the participants in their activities.
