Training for spokespersons of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region conducted

Within the framework of the Sustainable Rural Development project on the initiative of UNDP, training was organized for heads of information services of the districts participating in the project. Such seminars were also held with the participation of district press secretaries of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm Province.

Specialists invited from Khorezm region, Gurlan, Bagat, Urgench, Khazarasp, Khanka, Yangibazar, Nukus, Takhiatash, Beruni, Ellikkala, Amudarya and Turkul districts improved their knowledge in photography, selection, photo editing and use of various programs for information genres and social networks. While the first training day was devoted to theoretical preparation, the participants directly applied the acquired knowledge in practice on the second day.

Those gathered at the seminars received additional information in the field of public relations, the Sustainable Rural Development project, and networking, and also expressed their thoughts in areas such as the impact of journalism on environmental issues.
