Anticorruption

Normative documents

Strengthening the system for combating corruption in Uzbekistan and organizing effective action in this area is always at the center of the Government's attention.
With this in mind, several normative acts have been adopted. In particular, the following documents define the main directions of lawful activity and the fight against corruption in the country:

- Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 7, 2008 “On the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (New York, 31 October 2003)”;

- Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 3, 2017 "On Combating Corruption";

- Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 27, 2019 “On measures to further improve the system of countering corruption in the Republic of Uzbekistan”;

- Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 6, 2021 “On additional measures for the effective organization of anti-corruption activities”;

- Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 18, 2021 “On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the system for combating corruption in the Republic of Uzbekistan”;

- Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12, 2022 “On measures to introduce a rating system for assessing the effectiveness of anti-corruption efforts”;

- Order of the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan #85 dated July 10, 2023 “On defining the anti-corruption policy of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan”;

- Order of the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan #129 dated July 10, 2023 “On further improvement of the anti-corruption system of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
